The BMW X5 was launched in 1999 and became an instant success, marking the beginning of the age of the luxury 4×4. Where previously only the Range Rover was available, now models from BMW, Mercedes and Lexus were entering the market. The BMW was an especially popular, primarily because of it’s bold and masculine styling and it’s superb chassis based on the class leading 5-series saloon.
BMW realised most X5s would never be used for off-road work and so designed the chassis and handling of the car to be more suited to the road. This sport model comes with 19″ wheels and stiffer suspension for saloon-like performance. The Sport model is by the far the most popular of the X5 varieties; with 19″ wheels and more aggressive styling. The car comes with climate control, cruise control, electric windows all round and remote locking.
This car comes in Titanium silver with grey leather electric sport seats with 3 memory settings and anthracite headlining, all the books are here including the service book with 8 service stamps and 2 keys. There is also a new 12 month MOT with the car.
